MES provided security services in support of Baker Hughes International in Iraq since March 2012.
Our security services have included both mobile and static elements, as well as operational management support since start of contract.
Project Operational Management Center
Between 2014 and 2015, MES operated a full operational management center to provide oversight of Baker Hughes International mobile and static security operations. The mobile and static security support consisted of over 100 MES security personnel deployed Iraq wide to support Baker Hughes International operations. The Operational Management Center staffed by MES senior project management and watch keepers also provided daily intelligence briefing to senior Baker Hughes International personnel in addition to direct project security oversight to ensure that Baker Hughes business in Iraq continued with no disruption to operations.
Mobile Security Services
MES were contracted to Baker Hughes International between 2014 and 2016 to provide mobile security services. The service’s provided by MES consisting of five mobile security teams, compliant with Baker Hughes International standards in addition to the Rumaila Operating Organization (ROO) minimum security standards, version 3. MES teams would provide daily transportation in support of Baker Hughes International to a number of remote locations within southern Iraq, including but not limited to West Qurna (phase 1 & 2), North and South Rumaila, Zubayr and Um Qasr.
Remote Static Security Services
MES have provided remote static security support to Baker Hughes International in southern Iraq to ensure 24/7 security oversight for Baker Hughes International personnel whilst conducting business in remote locations, to include but not limited to work-over and drilling rig locations, water injection sites and Baker Hughes regional satellite locations. MES have provided these services in the following locations in support of Baker Hughes International to ensure that their employees and assets are protected against hostile risks.
– North and South Rumaila, West Qurna 1, West Qurna 2, Zubayr, Siba 6, Block 9.
